Once again, Mares! The winners have been announced for the 2007 diving technology awards, and for the seventh (!) consecutive year, Mares won in the BC category.
Again this year, a committee of thirty experts from the diving magazine "tauchen" has voted: Mares came out on top in the BC sector for the seventh consecutive year, garnering the sought-after trophy with the dolphin, which was presented to Mares Sales Director Dusan Runjajic by the new editor-in-chief Carolyn Martin and editor Alexandra Jahr during the "boot 2008" international watersports fair.
The "tauchen" award is the logical result of the many years of development work Mares has put into their BCs. The technological advantage of Mares BCs is the fruit not only of many pioneering patents, such as the Airtrim pneumatic system and the Dragon concept. Rather, many elements worked in concert to bring home this award, including leading technology, quality, design, equipment, and the final touch of the Mares BCs' accessible prices.
Mares also achieved high rankings in the regulator and dive computer categories.
