Over 1,650 exhibitors from 55 countries - Boot Show 2008 - Dusseldorf - Germany


Demand among exhibitors for space at the 39th International Boat Show has soared yet again. Messe Düsseldorf anticipates optimum utilisation of all available hall capacity with a new record in exhibition space rented and a top international range of exhibits.

2008 will be a year of records
In all, over 1,650 exhibitors from 55 countries will be presenting their premieres, products and services on all aspects of yachting and watersports this coming January in 17 exhibition halls covering a total of 220,000 square metres of exhibition space. The world’s biggest showcase of vessels under cover will feature an array of 2,000 boats of all types and sizes.

Qingdao shows first presentation in Europe
the Olympia Center will feature a preview of the Olympic Games in Beijing in the disciplines sailing, canoeing and rowing. Qingdao, the venue for the Olympic sailing competitions, has chosen boot as the showcase for its first presentation in Europe and is represented at a spacious stand in Hall 13.



Exhibition space
The country with the largest exhibitor contingent after Germany will be the Netherlands with 140 participants, followed by Italy with 105, France has 65 as well as the UK and Austria, each with 25 companies. The Scandinavians, Americans and Polish will make their presence more strongly felt than in previous years.

Visitors from around the world
The boot 2008 takes place at the Düsseldorf Trade Fair Center from 19 to 27 January 2008. It will open its doors daily to visitors from around the world between 10am and 6pm.
